Hi Pat I had a wee chat with you at Kinross earlier this year. I went to Winterstorn in Troon to see you , Michael Shenker and Uli John Roth. What a bill in one wee town. Whislt my Young's are from County Down, my dad was born in Troon, almost my home town! ladyisle.com. Bowled over by your performance, the ticket price was worth it for you alone. Your drummer really hits those ,skins hard and yourbass player is abolutely excellent which makes that a really tight unit. There were loads of fantastic performances from all of the bands. None of the three guitarists I went to see disappointed, but a massive surprise was Chantel McGregor. 4 world class guitarists.in one place, wow. Hopefully, I'll see you in Kinross next year maybe I can coax my wife as her family are from Arklow and she loved Garry Moore's music and Mamas Boys. I spoke to lots of random fold and met a second cousin I have never spoken too before.. All were bowled over by your band. Thank you so much.

Hi Pat, John Murphy here ......I was so sorry to hear of the death of your dear Mam. It was a few days after that I heard the sad news (that "scut" Brendan Bannon) didn't tell me. I new she was in a nursing home in 'Skea and often meant to call but didn't get the opportunity. I've crazy fond memories of her singing with the Fab Dawnbreakers. God be with the days. Hope to meet you sometime on your travels. Regards and commiserations. John Murphy ( The Bridge).

A great show last night Rory Gallagher festival (2023) and loved the Mama's Boys additions, especially your encore of "Needle To The Groove" - worth the wait of 40 years to see you play it 🙂 PS My son though you were the most talented musician on stage last night - couldn't disagree!

I can remember when I was a teenager back in the 80's and my uncle had a pub\show band premise in Culdaff, Donegal, i never forgot about him telling me he had Mama's Boys playing in there one night...and he remembered Pat showing local would be EVH's how he played some of the songs after the gig....must be 40 years ago now and I remember it like yesterday! I also remember, around the time of the Power and Passion album, writing to the MB's fan club asking if they had a guitar tab book, their sister must have been in charge of the fan club and replied with a hand written note - lovely personal touch.

hello, I'm an absolute fan of MAMA'S BOYS and it's impossible to find the cd's of this fantastic group and if you find the price is outrageous. When will there be remastered (or not) versions of all the albums? The music of MAMA'S BOYS deserves it. Mr. MC MANUS we are all counting on you. Cordially
Admin Reply by: Pat
Hi ...some cds are available....although many are not unfortunately. If you go to BGO records you will find Power and Passion at a regular cd price and I have some copies of the very first cd the Official Bootleg for sale Live In Camden DVD is available from The Store For Music.
