Saw you at the Blessfest in Cavan. Mesmorised for the best part of an hour. I hope to see you again in Dublin in November. Thanks for a fantastic performance and giving the up and comers a masterclass in slaying the guitar!

Mamas Boys were the first live band I ever saw, Aberdeen 83. You guys opened for Thin Lizzy and you were great, I went into the local record shop the next day and bought your debut album " plug it in" great album with a raw sound

Black three quarter length lether jacket long black hair and shades.. and when he walked into a pub, a club or whatever... everything changed.. for the better. The energy he brought with him was addictive. Everytime life beats me down i think of him play your music and i stand back up. I spoke to him on the phone when he was in the hospital in england, it was a wendesday i think, and he was telling me how we would go paint the town red in Dublin when he came back. I am so very glad to have had the pleasure of knowing him and think about him more often than i care to mention. I never met his family (you guys and girls). Long Live Tommy McManus.
